All our
thoughts and deepest sympathy go to Zia's Family!
It is with great sadness that we announce the
passing
of
Newark based B-756 Captain Zia Sheikh. He passed away on Saturday,
Jan 20th of an apparent heart attack. Zia is survived by wife
Stephanie and two sons, Ahmed and Ali.
Captain Zia Sheikh's
wife Stephanie, is seeking stories about Zia from his fellow pilots and
employees, that she can share with her two children Ahmed and Ali. The
oldest son Ahmed, is interested in being a pilot and following in his
father's footsteps. Stephanie thinks that the boys appreciate any e-mails
or pictures as they held their father in very high esteem. If you have
funny or interesting stories about some flying experience with Zia or
perhaps pictures that you are willing to share with his family, it would
be greatly appreciated.
Please send any emails to Stephanie at
